What this site loads
Privacy policy
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load on the first page view, before you answer the banner. Reject turns all three off and is remembered for 180 days. YouTube is requested only when you press play. This page names the providers, the browser keys, the retention we can state, and how to withdraw.
Who is responsible
The site operator of melvoridle2.org is the publisher of these notes. Reach them at [email protected]. Games by Malcs and Jagex do not run this site and do not receive your mail to that address. There is no separate company registration number printed here because none is claimed on the site.
For the purposes described below, the site operator is the controller of the first-party choice record and of the content served from this domain. Google, Microsoft and Adsterra act as independent providers for the requests that go to their own hosts.
Default loading and withdrawal
The operational default is to request Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra on the first view. The banner stays visible until you choose Accept or Reject. Default loading is a technical behaviour; it is not a claim that merely visiting expresses consent. Reject writes a denied record to localStorage key mi2-consent and removes the running provider loaders and their page nodes. Requests already sent cannot be recalled, and a provider cookie already written is not erased by Reject. A valid denied record prevents new provider requests on later visits for 180 days.
Accept keeps the providers on and writes a granted record for the same 180 days. Before an explicit choice, no granted choice is stored and the banner remains pending across pages. After the record expires the banner appears again. Cookie settings in the footer reopens it at any time. Global Privacy Control (navigator.globalPrivacyControl) is treated as Reject before any provider is requested. Do Not Track is not used as a separate switch; GPC is the signal we act on.
Google Consent Mode v2 is initialised before gtag config. ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization default to denied; analytics_storage defaults to granted, and ads_data_redaction is enabled. Loading a provider on the first visit does not change those Google ad defaults. Accept updates all four signals to granted. Reject updates all four signals to denied, sets ga-disable-G-98ES6J334W, tells Clarity consentv2 denied, removes the ad nodes, and reloads the page to stop provider code and timers. The saved denied choice prevents all three provider loaders from being requested again for 180 days.
The legal basis for the strictly necessary choice record is our legitimate interest in remembering your decision. For GA4, Clarity and Adsterra we rely on your consent where local law requires it, recorded by Accept, or on our legitimate interest in measuring readership and funding the site where consent is not the applicable basis; Reject withdraws that use. We do not sell personal information.
Providers and the hosts they request
The host list below reflects the production build checked on 29 October 2026. Advertising redirects and creatives can vary between visits. These are third-party requests even when cookies are unavailable. We do not embed a playable game, use a CDN font, or contact an external game site merely by displaying an ordinary link.
What each provider does
The runtime inventory was checked against the production build on 29 October 2026. GA4, Clarity and the two Adsterra units load by default; Reject disables their loaders.
- Google Analytics 4 (www.googletagmanager.com, www.google-analytics.com; measurement ID G-98ES6J334W) measures page views, referrals and interactions with browser and device information. It loads by default. Reject sets ga-disable-G-98ES6J334W and stops further measurement for this origin.
- Microsoft Clarity (www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and regional collection hosts under *.clarity.ms, including a.clarity.ms and q.clarity.ms; project z58q0axmg4) records sessions, heatmaps and click/scroll events. It loads by default. Reject sets Clarity consentv2 to denied and removes its loader. Do not type passwords, payment data or other sensitive information into a recorded page.
- Adsterra (bicea.org, static.nresystems.com, cdn.storageimagedisplay.com, cdn.show-creative1.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.cloudpiko.com; publisher 3403020) serves Native Banner unit 31983415 and Social Bar unit 31983416 for creative delivery, frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention. Both load by default. Reject removes the loaders and the fixed bar.
- YouTube (www.youtube-nocookie.com, with player resources possibly on youtube.com, ytimg.com and googlevideo.com) is requested only after you press the play button on a video poster. It receives the IP address, player/referrer and device data needed to serve the video, and can write its own cookies after that action.
Cookies and localStorage keys
This site writes two first-party localStorage keys. mi2-consent holds a JSON object with choice (granted or denied) and exp (a timestamp); it lasts 180 days and is not sent to our server. mi2-adbar-closed holds {closed:true, t:<timestamp>} when you dismiss the floating Social Bar; it lasts 180 days, affects only that bar, and does not stop GA4 or Clarity. Use Reject in Cookie settings to stop all three providers. You can delete both keys through your browser site-data controls.
GA4 may write the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_98ES6J334W, normally for up to two years. Clarity documents first-party _clck and _clsk and third-party CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM; _clck is commonly kept for up to one year and _clsk for about a day, while the Microsoft-hosted names follow Microsoft’s retention. Which values are actually written depends on the browser and on whether Reject was chosen.
Adsterra controls the names and lifetimes of cookies or local storage set on bicea.org and its delivery hosts; they are not readable from this origin and we have not verified an exhaustive list. They may be used for frequency capping, measurement and interest-based advertising. Microsoft and Google likewise control retention on their own domains. We have not independently verified this property’s analytics or replay retention settings, so no site-specific provider retention period is asserted here; consult the linked policies.
Reject stops new provider loading on this site but does not automatically erase identifiers a provider already stored. Clear cookies and site data for melvoridle2.org, and use the provider controls below, if you want to remove those.
Personalised advertising and opt-out links
Adsterra may show interest-based advertising. You can withdraw from personalised advertising through the provider and industry pages below. These are third-party controls, not switches on this site; Reject is the switch that stops this site from requesting the ad loaders. Global Privacy Control is honoured as Reject. Do Not Track is not used as a separate switch.

YouTube, only when you press play
Gameplay pages show a poster image hosted on this site. The iframe for youtube-nocookie.com is created when you press play, not before. After that, YouTube can set its own cookies. Common names on an embedded player include VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC and PREF. Logged-in Google cookies are YouTube’s, and only if you are signed in there. We do not read them. The legal basis for loading the player is your click, which you can avoid by never pressing play. The video title and date are also written into the page as text, so you do not need the player to read the citation.
Email you send us
A message to [email protected] is processed so we can reply. It is kept long enough to finish the correction and then removed from the working mailbox in the ordinary course of that inbox. Do not send a save file, a password, or a government ID. The legal basis is the request you made (a correction or a rights request).
Rights, retention, changes
Depending on where you live, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of the email thread you started, and you can object to us keeping it. Email [email protected]. We do not sell personal information. The consent and ad-bar records stay on your device for 180 days or until you clear site data. Server logs of the host, if the host keeps them, are the host’s; this site’s pages are static files. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
This policy changes by editing this page and moving the checked date. The current date is 29 October 2026. Continued use after that date means you are reading the new text. Cookie settings always reopens the local choice, including after a change.
Editorial notes
These notes describe the public sources checked on 29 October 2026, not a private gameplay test. Missing values and source disagreements remain explicit.
Questions
Do you use cookies?
Yes. GA4, Clarity and Adsterra load by default and may set their own cookies. This site itself writes localStorage keys mi2-consent and mi2-adbar-closed. Reject stops the three providers and remembers that choice for 180 days.
How do I withdraw?
Use Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject. That stores denied in mi2-consent for 180 days and removes the GA4, Clarity and Adsterra loaders. You can also clear site data in the browser.
Does Reject also block a video I ask to play?
No. A video is requested only when you press its play button. That action loads a YouTube player separately from analytics and advertising; the poster before it is served from this site.
Is there a cookie policy at another URL?
/cookie-policy/ and /cookies/ redirect to this page. One document covers cookies, localStorage and the three providers.
