Melvor Idle 2 release date
Melvor Idle 2 enters Steam Early Access on 17 November 2026. The free demo has been available since 19 October 2026. A full 1.0 date has not been announced.
The four dates people mix up
The 3 August 2025 date belongs to the public Playtest app (3794500), which Steam lists as Windows-only. It is a separate app, not the current demo, Early Access or version 1.0.
The announcement post is 24 April 2025 on the official news site. The demo went live 19 October 2026 for Steam Next Fest and stayed up after the fest. Early Access, on both the Steam store field and the 29 October 2026 news post, is 17 November 2026.
What “Early Access” means here
Steam’s Early Access Q&A on the store page estimates 12 to 18 months. That is a developer estimate, not a 1.0 calendar date; it cannot establish a particular full-release day.
The 29 October 2026 post says Early Access includes 25 skills, a level cap of 99, and content beyond the demo. The full-game target stated in the April 2025 FAQ is 29 skills and a level cap of 120. Those are different stages. The skills page keeps the split.
Why some pages still say the price is missing
Steam’s appdetails response on 29 October 2026 has release_date “Nov 17, 2026” and coming_soon true, with no price_overview. The store has not opened sales yet. The $14.99 figure comes from the April 2025 official FAQ, not from a Steam price row. See the price page before you trust a third-party tag.

Editorial notes
The Steam release field and the October announcement agree on 17 November 2026, but remain one official source family. The Playtest is a separate app. The Early Access duration is an estimate, not a calculated 1.0 date or an independently confirmed unlock hour.
