Where to download Melvor Idle 2
The current official free public entry, without a paid membership, is the Steam demo, app 5373510. Open it from the Melvor Idle 2 store page. Early Access (app 3218350) starts 17 November 2026. No official mobile APK is announced in the sources checked on 29 October 2026.

Install Steam, open the Melvor Idle 2 store page (app 3218350), and use the demo button. The demo itself is a separate app, 5373510. Steam lists it as free, with Windows, macOS and Linux, and Steam Cloud.
The full game is not on sale in the checked Steam listing: appdetails has no price_overview on 29 October 2026. A reseller listing is not an official preorder announcement. Patreon separately ended the release Steam key benefit for new qualifying subscriptions on 27 October 2026 at 08:00 AWST (UTC+8); earlier Elite Supporters retain it, and that notice does not close Alpha access.
Three app IDs, three different things
The Playtest (3794500) was a Windows-only public test dated 3 August 2025. The demo (5373510) is the free build from 19 October 2026. The main app (3218350) is the Early Access listing. These IDs are not interchangeable.
Older official Alpha progress posts described Steam or standalone builds for Windows, macOS and Linux. The current Patreon membership description lists Steam-only Alpha access. Historical standalone wording is not a current public installer link and does not make the free demo a Patreon benefit.
Windows support and download size
The main game store still lists Windows 7 or later in its minimum requirements, but the same page warns that the Steam client supports Windows 10 and later from 1 January 2024. The old game requirement is not a guarantee that Steam can now be installed or supported on Windows 7.
The main app lists 2 GB available storage for Windows minimum and 4 GB for recommended; macOS and Linux list 4 GB minimum. Those are available-space requirements, not measured download or installed sizes. The demo API does not publish a precise storage figure. A current download package size is therefore left unspecified rather than estimated.
What you cannot download
There is no official Android APK, no iOS build, no browser build, and no console build. The April 2025 FAQ says a web version is planned once Godot and C# can export one, with no date. Mobile is described as coming after Early Access, also with no date. Pages that offer a “full game” installer are not the official channel.

The public demo entry and app IDs are taken from Steam and the developer announcements. Historical Alpha download wording does not establish a public standalone download today. No installer execution or key purchase is used to support this page.
Questions
Is the Melvor Idle 2 demo still up after Next Fest?
The 19 October 2026 demo post said the demo would remain for several weeks after Next Fest. It was still the official free app when these pages were checked on 29 October 2026.
Can I download Melvor Idle 2 on my phone?
Not from an official source. Mobile is planned after Early Access and has no date. Do not install an APK from a download site.
Is a cheap Steam key an official preorder?
No official preorder or reseller offer is established by the sources checked. The Patreon cutoff concerns new release-key benefits, not all existing Alpha keys or earlier Elite entitlements. Use the public Steam demo rather than treating an unrelated listing as official.
