Steam minimums
Melvor Idle 2 system requirements
Steam lists minimum requirements for Windows, macOS and Linux. Its Windows recommended block also lists 2 GB RAM and 4 GB storage. These are store specifications checked on 29 October 2026, not benchmarks. No Steam Deck Verified rating is published.
Windows, macOS, Linux
Windows asks for a 64-bit CPU and Windows 7 or later, an Intel Pentium 4 or anything newer with SSE2, 1 GB of RAM, integrated graphics, 2 GB of free disk, and an optional sound card. macOS asks for 10.9 64-bit, an Apple M1 or an Intel Core M, 2 GB of RAM, integrated graphics and 4 GB of disk. Linux asks for a 1.5 GHz CPU, 2 GB of RAM, integrated graphics and 4 GB of disk.
The Windows recommended block specifies a 64-bit processor and operating system, 2 GB RAM and 4 GB storage; it does not name a recommended CPU or GPU. The macOS and Linux recommended blocks contain no values. Storage space is not the download file size: no verified installer or download size is available in these sources.
Steam also warns beneath the old Windows 7 minimum line that its client supports Windows 10 and later from 1 January 2024. The game’s published minimum is not a promise that today’s Steam client will install on Windows 7.
I am not adding a “you will want 8 GB” line. That would be my machine, not the store page. If the demo stutters, the pinned known-issues post is the place the developer lists fullscreen and cloud-login fixes, not a spec bump.
Steam Deck
The Deck compatibility endpoint returned resolved_category 0, which is “no report”, not Verified and not Unsupported. Separately, the 27 October 2026 changelog says a first-launch fullscreen problem on Steam Deck was fixed. Both sentences can be true: they shipped a fix, and Valve has not published a category.

Questions
Can a low-end laptop run Melvor Idle 2?
The published minimum is integrated graphics and 1 GB of RAM on Windows. That is the store’s line. It is not a benchmark from this site.
Is Steam Deck supported?
There is no Valve rating. A fullscreen-on-first-launch bug was patched in the late October changelog.
Do phone specs exist?
No. There is no mobile build and therefore no mobile requirements.
