Melvor Idle 2 Early Access
Melvor Idle 2 Early Access starts on Steam on 17 November 2026. The 29 October announcement describes 25 skills, a level cap of 99, and more of the story than the demo. The store Q&A estimates 12 to 18 months of Early Access.
What the announcement says is in the build
The 29 October 2026 post says Early Access adds Astrology, Herblore and Agility on top of the demo, four new guild ranks, more than 1,800 items, more than 150 monsters, 25 pets, and Act 2. It calls Act 2 about three times the size of Act 1. Those counts are the post’s own figures. I do not have a second inventory that I can use to audit “1,800 items” item by item.
The full-game target from the April 2025 FAQ is still 29 skills and level 120. Early Access is the 25-skill, cap-99 stage. Five “brand new” skills were promised for the full game; only Ranching, Hunting and Beastcrafting have been named as new to the series. The other two new names have not been published.
Language, price, and how long this stage lasts
The April 2025 FAQ and the pinned Steam FAQ both say Early Access launches in English only. Jagex is described, in the 29 October post, as taking on localisation support. That is a plan for later languages, not a Simplified Chinese build on day one. The Chinese page covers that directly.
The price in the FAQ is $14.99, and the Early Access Q&A says the full release keeps the Early Access price. Steam was not selling the app yet on 29 October 2026. The 12–18 month window is an estimate on the store page, not a 1.0 date.
Demo players do not start over
Demo saves are forward-compatible. The demo post and the pinned FAQ agree. Alpha saves are also promised to carry, from the November 2025 progress post. Melvor Idle 1 saves are not part of either promise.

Questions
How long is Melvor Idle 2 Early Access?
The Steam Early Access Q&A says about 12 to 18 months. There is no 1.0 date.
Will Early Access be English only?
Yes, according to the April 2025 FAQ and the pinned Steam FAQ. Later localisation is mentioned, without a language list or a date.
Do I keep demo items?
Official posts say demo progress transfers automatically. They do not publish an item-by-item exception list. If one appears, the save-transfer page is where it will be quoted.
